Meet Kate, our Production Manager here at Consider the Wldflwrs. Kate made her way to Nashville from Philadelphia last May and has been a true treasure on our team ever since. You may recognize her from the interview she did last month on the new Alternative Bridal Collection. Kate’s bursting with creative energy that comes in handy when designing and working on our custom pieces. Aside from designing, she works closely with our bench jewelers and sales team to ensure that timelines are met and our customers are receiving beautiful pieces that will last a lifetime. Kate is as thoughtful, adaptable, and generous as it gets! We asked her to answer a few questions so you can get to know her and love her as much as we do.
I moved down to Nashville from Philadelphia back in May, so I haven’t been here that long. I have to say I love it here though! There is so much to do all the time you can never get bored here.
I have my eye on a lot of stuff but some of my favorites are the Golden Dawn Curb Necklace, Double Birthstone Chain Earring, and the Large Twinkle Band. Also I won’t spill the beans but we have some pretty banging new designs that are launching in 2022. I can’t say what they are but I would love to own a few of those pieces. Keep your eyes peeled for them next year.
What’s your jewelry philosophy?
My jewelry philosophy is to buy quality pieces that are timeless. I’m a quality over quantity person in nearly everything I purchase, especially when it comes to jewelry. I try to ask myself ‘would I pass this down to my children someday’ before I buy a piece of jewelry. You can’t go wrong with classic pieces like diamond studs, a gold chain, a diamond band, and a nice watch. Those are the types of pieces I own in my own collection.
Plans for the holidays?
I’m going home to visit my family. I was home for Thanksgiving and I’m already looking forward to seeing them again for Christmas. My family is super close so any time spent with them is really special. I also am looking forward to spending my first New Years in Nashville with friends so lots of upcoming events to look forward to this month!

Tell us about where you’re from! How long have you been in Nashville?
I’m from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Actually I grew up in Lititz which is a small town located in Lancaster County. Both my parents grew up in that area and that’s where they settled down to raise my brother, sister and I. I might be biased but I think it was one of the best places to grow up. Lititz was actually voted ‘America’s Coolest Small Town’ a few years back.I moved down to Nashville from Philadelphia back in May, so I haven’t been here that long. I have to say I love it here though! There is so much to do all the time you can never get bored here.
How long have you been with CTWF? What do you love about your job?
I’ve been with Consider since May. I actually moved down to Nashville to take my dream job with Consider. There are so many aspects about my job that make it cool. I love seeing designs go from an idea to a completed piece. I also get to work with some awesome creative people who are great problem solvers. I work mostly out of our studio, and we have a great team here. Every day for me is different and that has to be one of my favorite things about my job.What’s your ideal Saturday?
My ideal Saturday is waking up early, taking a walk down to the Farmer’s Market to get a coffee, grabbing drinks with friends and going out to a nice dinner. I’m one of those people that isn’t good at relaxing. I like to be busy all the time so a weekend filled with plans and friends is my type of weekend.
What makes you feel golden?
I like to get out of the city and get some fresh air. Whether it’s a hike or a weekend trip or a kayak float in the summer, those little moments make me slow down and appreciate the little things in life. It’s easy to get caught up in your daily routine and it’s nice to be able to press a restart button every so often.Any CTWF pieces you have your eye on? Favorite pieces you already own?
My favorite Consider piece I own is the Large Heart Heritage Charm. I wear it on a 16” paperclip necklace nearly every day.
