2021 Year in Review
As 2021 comes to a close, we can’t help but reflect on the year and all of the collections launched, milestones celebrated, and joy reclaimed. While the year was not without its hardships, 2021 showed us that joy and hope will always shine through the darkness. Here at Consider the Wldflwrs, we were able to recapture those things in big ways. Each month offered its own glimmer of joy that, when woven together, made for an extra golden year!
In February, just in time for Valentine’s Day, we launched the Tic Tac Toe Collection. This collection was full of fun and beautiful earrings and necklaces that made perfect gifts for loved ones. These pretty little pieces were met with all the “heart eyes” and we started the year with a very sweet bang!
March brought particular good news for our customers with earring obsessions, as we launched our new Ear Stack Starter Pack! This pack of four earrings including the Petite Cluster Stud, Seed Stud, Hammered Disc Stud, and Petite Stick Stud all in 14k yellow gold. - all of our bestselling earrings in one curated ear stack pack. The carefully thought out set was designed to encourage ear stacking and creative, mismatched pairing.
Later in the month, we launched our In Color Collection that included our bestselling Small and Large Hammered Cross Heritage Charm that can be worn on a necklace or bracelet chain. This charm is available with multiple gemstone options for the bail, but we personally loved the diamond bail and ability to engrave the back of the cross. This collection was inspired by the idea of seeing the upcoming year through rose-colored glasses now that 2020 was behind us. Our In color Collection signified hope and the fact that life was meant to be lived in color!
April brought the launch of our new split shank engagement rings with plain metal bands, The Geranium Engagement Ring Setting, as well as diamond bands, The Valencia Engagement Ring Setting. We also began offering some additional three stone ring options. To showcase these items, we had a magical photo shoot that was filled with bubbles and bridal dresses - the most fun way to welcome Spring!
Our birthday month was a particularly memorable highlight. In July, we celebrated Consider the Wldflwrs’ 8th birthday at our East Nashville location with a BANGIN bash. It was a joyful evening full of the sweetest people, delicious cocktails, and the cutest charcuterie cups that truly looked too pretty to eat. We even offered 30 exclusive goodie bags with a hidden diamond band inside one as an extra special surprise!
In August we launched our new Alternative Bridal Collection. These one-of-a-kind engagement rings have almost sold out, so we decided to design even more and launched them later in the year. You clearly love engagement rings that are as unique as you are and we have taken that to heart!
The phrase “joy is essential” kept bubbling up to the surface throughout the course of the year and in September it was time to launch The Essentials Collection, a collection that echoes our beginnings, providing simple and everyday “staple” pieces. The pieces in this collection offer sweet ways to remind ourselves of the vital relationships in our lives and of the importance of slowing down to find joy in the little things.
Just in time for gift giving season, October brought the launch of our brand new CTWF merch. Our Foaming Jewelry Cleaner comes with its own little toothbrush, providing the most adorable set to keep those special pieces nice and sparkly. Our Jewelry Travel Case gives the best possible storage solution to keep those pieces safe and sound. It inspires us to “consider adventure” and to find joy in a little bit of wanderlust!
We saved the best for last! In December, we opened our second Consider the Wldflwrs location on 12th Avenue South in Nashville. This storefront is a dream come true for us, and we have already held a piercing party and our very first zap party there! We look forward to many more public events at this location in 2022, and we can’t wait to see how it helps us connect with even more of you! Read more about this new location here on the Journal.
