Planting New Roots in 12 South

Dec 16, 2021by Arden Leone

On December 7th, 2021, Consider the Wldflwrs opened its second Nashville location in the 12 South neighborhood. This storefront has all of the CTWF favorites you know and love - from stackers and studs, to chains, charms and diamond bands. It promises to be the ultimate one-stop-shop for all of your meaningful, everyday fine jewelry needs.

We spoke with Emily, founder and owner of Consider the Wldflwrs, to learn more about the new storefront, what inspires her and how she imagines the future of CTWF.

Q: Hi Emily! Tell us about yourself.

I'm Emily - a business owner, wife and mother living in Nashville, TN with my husband and three sons. I love spending time with my family and doing anything outdoors. I also love jewelry - a lot - which is why I started CTWF!

Q: Have you always wanted to open a second location in 12 South?

My husband and I met at Belmont university and have always frequented 12 South. We had our first double date there and even held hands there for the first time! It's a big part of our story, and an area we are truly obsessed with. Since we go there often, we noticed a potential location open up and started praying about it. The timing and locale are providential. We are so excited for the possibilities ahead!

Q: What's your favorite things about the work you do for CTWF?

I think my favorite thing has been seeing this business become a vehicle for opportunity, not only for our team members, but for our clients as well. I've had the honor of serving people during their most special moments -- as they look toward new seasons and remember past ones. It is incredible gratifying.

Q: What do you do to relax?

I love utilizing the five senses to relax, and I really try to practice that at home and at the storefront. I love the smell of a good candle, the taste of a bold glass of red wine, the beauty of interior design, the feel of a soft blanket and the sights and sounds of the outdoors. Using those elements everywhere I go makes me feel relaxed at home and at work.

Q: What inspires your jewelry design

All aspects of nature inspire me. I'm one of those people who likes rainy days (but not too many in a row)! I love the four seasons and everything they bring. The beauty that nature provides inspires me to translate that beauty into the details of each piece. For example, I love using milgrain because it reminds me of water droplets on a rainy day.

Q: Where do you see CTWF in five years?

We just move into 12 South, so I definitely see us thriving there! I would also love to continue to grow our bridal team so that more clients get those memorable moments they dream about. Ultimately, I see us growing in the way God intends for us to go. I make plans and dream about the future of CTWF, but I'm open to what comes next for us.
