Meet Arden: Consider the Wldflwrs E-Commerce Director

Arden, our E-Commerce Director at Consider the Wldflwrs, is creative, passionate, and oh so adaptable. She came to us through a bit of a chance meeting, via a family connection at just the right time, but grew into her role on our team like a natural. Now she has worn all sorts of hats around here! Arden started with us on the sales floor and worked in our storefront quite a bit, but really found her groove when she began on our marketing team. Her outgoing and fun personality makes it easy for her to connect with anyone, proving her role of working with our partners just the right fit. We got Arden to spill her favorite Nashville date night spots, how she met her husband, her current CTWF jewelry obsession, and the fascinating details on the time in her life as a professional dancer. We can’t wait for you to get to know her like we do!

CTWF: How long have you lived in Nashville and what do you love about it?

Arden: I moved to Nashville in February 2019 - so I have been here for about two and a half years now. Nashville is such a fun city and growing like crazy! I love to try all of the new restaurants and go to concerts or listen to live music. There is just so much talent, passion and ambition everywhere you go! That kind of excitement and energy is so inspiring.

CTWF: Tell us more about your hubby and how you two met. Do you have favorite date spots?

Arden: Jack and I met in college at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. In true Texas fashion, we met at a two-stepping bar. He asked me for the first dance and the rest is history! We just got married this past April and life has been a dream. We love to go on dates to new restaurants every weekend. Some of our recent favorites include Ladybird Taco (for casual brunch), Emery Wood Fired, and Sixty Vines. We also love to try making different cocktails at home. Our current fall favorite is a spiced apple cider bourbon.

CTWF: Since you’ve been with us for a while, we know you already have some amazing pieces in your collection. Tell us about them! What’s currently on your wishlist?

Arden: My absolute favorite piece in my collection (besides my engagement ring, of course) is my Plateau Signet Ring with a Hidden Halo. Jack gifted this to me on our wedding day and had our monogram engraved on it. It is so special and such a statement piece. I’m obsessed.

I would really like to add the Flax Ring to my bridal stack someday. I just love the unique shape and vintage flair. Maybe for an anniversary? (hint hint, Jack!) As far as necklaces go, I have been eyeing all of our new chains! I especially love the look of the Maison Figaro Necklace, Paper Clip Chain Necklace and Golden Dawn Curb Necklace layered together - so effortlessly cool. I am also a sucker for huggie earrings, so the new Petite Chubby Hollow Hoops are definitely on my wishlist.

CTWF: We know you have a background as a professional dancer. What is something most people don’t know about this part of your life?

Arden: Dance has always been a passion of mine. I started dancing when I was 5 years old and immediately fell in love with it. I devoted my whole life to it growing up and went to college to pursue a major in Dance Performance. Before moving to Nashville, I actually got my Masters in Contemporary Dance in London and toured Europe performing with a dance company. It was absolutely incredible, crazy, and thrilling, but it makes me even more thankful for my cozy life in Nashville now. :) Dance will always be a HUGE part of my life and has shaped me into the person I am today - it drives my creativity and perfectionism. These days I get my dancing in by teaching classes at a local studio in Brentwood!

CTWF: What do you do to relax?

Arden: I love to take walks through the 12 South neighborhood and go to farmers markets. There is also nothing cozier than snuggling up with a Barefoot Dreams blanket and a glass of wine with a candle burning.

CTWF: What makes you feel golden?

Arden: Nothing makes me feel better than a fresh manicure and a blowout! I also love fall fashion. These Agolde Jeans and these Marc Fisher booties are fall staple pieces I can’t live without. You also can’t go wrong with an amazing leather jacket!

See? We knew you’d love her. Watch for fun conversations with more of our team members in the Journal over the next few weeks - and if you missed our chats with Shelby (Storefront Manager) and Annie (Director of Bridal Sales), be sure to go back and catch up!
