1. How long does it take to create a ring or any piece of Consider jewelry?

Most of our pieces are custom made-to-order because we create the piece based on the sample in the customers’ preference of finger size and color. These pieces can take 4 to 6 weeks without a rush and about 2 weeks with a rush. We’ve got a great selection of ready-to-ship items too. Ready-to-Ship items are in-stock pieces in a specific size and color that are our sample stock pieces. For additional customization we offer engraving. Engraving can take up to a week in addition to the creation of the piece. For example our Heritage collection of engravable pendants, like the Oval Heritage below, usually takes about 2 weeks to create and engrave. Make sure to consider this lead time when shopping for yourself or a gift.

2. What color and clarity are the diamonds used at CTWF?

We pride ourselves on lasting heirloom jewelry and that includes quality and ethically sourced diamonds and stones. The stones in our white diamond wedding bands are GH in color and VS clarity, but we can match any quality that the client would like! If they have a center stone that is J color we can source diamonds of J color so that their engagement ring is still the shining star. For our engagement rings we typically start pricing around I color and SI clarity, but this is completely dependent on the clients needs and preferences.

3. Do you ship internationally?

Yes! For some international shipments you will have to pay a customs fee - make sure and research your destination country’s policy before shipping as this varies and is the responsibility of the recipient.

4. Do you clean jewelry not purchased at Consider?

Yes! We are happy to offer complimentary jewelry cleaning in our Nashville flagship, whether you purchased the piece from us or not. Fine jewelry is meant to shine and we want you leaving our store feeling fabulous. Cleaning your jewelry is an important part of the longevity and care routine of your piece and we want your jewelry to last a lifetime.

5. Do you offer financing?

Yes, we use Affirm for financing options. Financing is only available online and you can make monthly payments over 3, 6, or 12 months. Also, checking to see if you prequalify for Affirm financing will not affect your credit and only takes a couple minutes. Buy now, pay later.

6. Do I need to make an appointment to come into the store and try on jewelry?

The only pre-arranged appointment we require is for engagement rings. You can book that appointment here. Otherwise, you are welcome to walk in and try on our jewelry and enjoy a glass of bubbly any time.

7. Are your earrings sold individually?

Some styles are sold as a pair and some as single. Because we love an asymmetrical stack, check out our favorite earring sold as singles:  Single Black Diamond Seed Chain Earring - classic with a bit of edge, our Single 5mm Skinny Pavé- perfect for a cartilage piercing, or our classic favorite the Single Stick Stud.

8. Where did the name, Consider the Wldflwrs, come from?

Owner Emily Eggebreght drew her inspiration for the brand’s name from a Bible verse: Luke 12:27, “Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.” The root meaning here is “do not worry”.

9. Do you offer 18k gold as well as 14k gold?

Absolutely! We can create any of our pieces in 18k or 14k yellow gold, white gold, and rose gold as well as platinum. What’s the difference in durability or quality? 18k has a higher gold content and because of that has a stronger golden/yellow hue. We typically recommend 14k because it is the most standard karat used for jewelry making and is long lasting in terms of wear and scratches. Since 18k is a little bit softer it can show scratches and prongs may need to be retipped more often.

10. Can I resize a full eternity band?

We only resize half-eternity bands. Most of the time an eternity band is made in a specific size and cannot be resized. In order to change the size of an eternity band we would have to pull the stones, recast the metal using new gold and reset all of the stones again.

11. What are the benefits of full-eternity bands vs. half?

While we can’t resize full-eternity bands, we love that the sparkle can be appreciated from all angles. There’s no need to reposition or twist your ring back in place...it’s all sparkle all the time.

12. Do you offer multiple lengths in all of your necklaces?

Yes, many of our necklaces are available in multiple lengths or with adjustable length chains because layering is kind of our thing. We are currently loving the Double Chained Bar Tag as it is both 16” bead chain and an 18” cable chain. We consider her a layering must-have for 2020.

13. When do I need to order my wedding bands?

We recommend 3 months before the wedding. Allowing for 4-6 weeks for production and sizing or engraving, this gives a great safety net in case something unexpected happens, you know, like a global pandemic. ;) We do have ready-to-ship options and pieces on our floor for elopements or last minute love  - it’s completely doable.
