Introducing: The Mini Petite Cluster Necklace

Jan 20, 2022by Courtney Lay

A new year calls for updating your stack with a little sparkle and we have just the necklace for it! Launching today, the Mini Petite Cluster Necklace is the perfect necklace to gift yourself to celebrate a new season in life. The Mini Petite Cluster Necklace is the smaller, dainty version of our best-selling Petite Cluster Necklace. Petite offset marquise and round diamonds form a small bar to adorn your neck with plenty of shine. This necklace comes on a 15" cable chain, and it is the perfect length for layering and stacking!

One of the questions we get asked often is how to layer and stack necklaces together. While there is no right or wrong way to layer, we do have a few tips and tricks we stick to when creating our stacks! It all comes down to having fun with mixing textures, interest, metals, and lengths. Whatever your personal story or style, there is a stack for you.

Start Small

If you are new to stacking and have no idea where to start, ease into it and start by layering two necklaces. Keeping it simple to start with will help build your confidence to continue adding to your stack down the road when you are ready. We love the Mini Petite Cluster Necklace and the Petite Cluster Necklace styled together for an easy way to elevate any look.

Consider Your Foundation

Your shortest necklace will be the base of your layered look. After choosing your base, you can decide where you want to go from there. We suggest your next layer should be on a chain that is at least 2” longer than the base layer. You can go longer for a more dramatic look, but a good rule of thumb is bump each layer by 2”.

Get Charmed

Charm necklaces are one of our favorite trends as of late. You can personalize the charms to add a meaningful piece to your collection or keep them plain for a statement piece. Take it to the next level by layering multiple charms together on the same chain. Either way, a charm necklace is an easy way to add dimension to your stack.

Mix Metals

We suggest mixing metals with ring stacks all of the time and the same suggestion rings true when it comes to your necklace stack! If you already have a necklace of a certain metal color that you love, play around with adding another metal to add a bit of interest to your stack. Remember, there are no rules!

Consider Your Lengths

There is nothing worse than dealing with tangled necklaces all day. To avoid this, make sure you are pairing necklaces of different lengths and weights. This will help keep your necklaces in place all day long!

Build Slowly

You do not have to run out and complete your necklace stack all at once. To create a meaningful collection you will want to wear for years, consider adding necklaces for big life events such as birthdays, anniversaries, or other special occasions. You will appreciate each piece that much more and be creating a collection that can be passed down for generations.

Whatever you choose, we hope this little guide for stacking any layering necklaces was helpful to you!
