If every after-thought were regarded as thoughtless, our strain would lie in what almost was. -considerthewldflwrs
Too often we suppress our after-thoughts. Most of the time these thoughts are our minds conclusion to what would have been the best decision. After-thoughts shouldn't be regarded as flighty, mindless things, but rather as a well inferred judgement of a situation from an outside (or later) perspective. It is hard to not look back and mock a previously made decision, but after-thoughts don't have to be negative. After-thoughts usually show our maturity by recognizing a result, reviewing a situation, and gaining wisdom. Each review encourages us and helps us cultivate a deeper understanding of ourselves, others, and the Spirit.
